Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser
Kiwanis of Ooltewah-Collegedale to serve pancakes August 25 at Imagination Station
The Kiwanis Club of Ooltewah-Collegedale will fire up the griddles at the Imagination Station for the annual Pancake Breakfast to raise money for local children’s projects.
This semi-annual pancake breakfast raises funds for the Thatcher-Whidden Scholarship Fund which supports a member of the Key Club at Ooltewah High School with secondary educational expenses. The cost is $6 per person. Walk-ups are more than welcome. However, advanced purchase of tickets can be done at Don Self State Farm or Morning Pointe Offices at Cambridge Square.
This year's Back to School Pancake Breakfast will offer all you can eat pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage (a vegetarian option will be provided,) milk, orange juice, coffee and all the trimmings for only $6.00 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at the Imagination Station and Pavilion at Collegedale Memorial Park (4910 Swinyar Dr, Ooltewah, TN)
“We know kids need Kiwanis, in our community and around the world,” said Steve Darmody, Chairman of Public Relations. “In an era of municipal and school budget cuts, our club can step in and provide the necessary elements for children to thrive, prosper and grow,” said Jason Sauls, President. “Who knew eating pancakes could help so many children.”
The Kiwanis Club of Ooltewah-Collegedale, www.kiwanisoc.com, welcomes new members who want to serve their community. Information about becoming a member is available online or by joining the weekly luncheon meeting held at noon in the Fuller Memorial Community Center located in the Collegedale City Hall at 4910 Swinyar Drive Collegedale, TN.
